When Liacarla & Mario contacted me about their October 8th wedding and then sent me their inspiration boards, I got giddy. Lashings of dusky pink, peach, candies, and a soft grey vintage feel made for a romantic celebration.
I flew to Nassau on the first flight and we finally met as she prepared for the day in her bridal suite at the Hilton.
The room was busy with her family, maids of honor (she had 2) and makeup artist, the lovely Italia Williams of Eyecandy.
Liacarla was giddy with excitement and looked stunning in her strapless sweetheart neck wedding gown. Her shoes were embellished by her, YES, she painstakingly glued every one of the thousand plus crystal to her shoes- the result- A custom made memento that dazzled as she walked down the aisle later that afternoon.
Mario was the the opposite, really relaxed and enjoying his time with his 2 best men ( yes, he had 2!) The men looked handsome in their cream suits with pink ties and then headed off to the venue.
The Pavillion at the Source River, the former Bacardi factory made a wonderful setting for ceremony.
Beautiful flower arrangements, a full candy bar and Tiki lights lit the scene for the reception.
