Christine, Joey, Sasha & Nicholas. These four wonderful individuals make up the Wallace-Whitfield family. With their love of the water, Sasha and Nicholas being competition swimmers, as was Christine, it made perfect sense when we got together to schedule a family session on the beach.
At this time of the year the light is just perfect around 3-4pm, so despite the wind it was all go.
When I handed them the chalk board to jot down their family name, the artist in christine took over " what color chalk shall we choose?' she asked Joey.
As a photographer. I love shooting these type of sessions, Sasha at 12 is a pre-teen with her own identity, she had her cool shades which she whipped out and said "I wanted to get some shots wearing this" and was great at posing.
Nicholas with his football ("soccer" for my US readers) kicked it high in the air at the start of the session and had to rescue it from the surf:) so the silhouette shots were unplanned.
WIth it coming up to Holidays in a few days. Lots of canvases, cards, prints and standouts were ordered so I cant wait to share those with you soon. In the mean time, enjoy these beautiful family session photos.
