Yesterday, I met with clients and newlyweds Kristi & Michael. I had arranged to meet to hand over their gorgeous Cream leather Luxury album and I couldn't wait to see their reactions.
This was one of the largest albums I have ever designed for a client, 30 spreads (60 pages in normal speak). With their names struck in gold lettering in the center and pages that were 2mm thick, this album weighed 6 lbs.
We met over coffee at a local coffee house and Kristi couldn't help but open it immediately, she lovingly turned each page and I could see the happiness in her eyes. We even had some of the staff come by to take a peek.
Her reaction is exactly why I love designing and delivering albums. This a tangible memory of one of the most important day in your lives, held in your hands. Taking you back moment by moment as you turn each page.
Care for your treasure with love and it will continue to give joy to you and all you share it with for generations to come.
