My friend Ashley gave birth to baby Blake about 4 weeks before I had Layla. So as a gift I offered to capture some moments of the two of them together, because babies really do change everyday right before your very eyes. This was my first time photographing a newborn, (Layla doesn't really count, does she?)
As this was a quick session, maybe 40 minutes in all, I'm pleased that we managed to get a nice variety of shots. The photos came out great and Blake was a real sweetheart the whole entire time.
I now realise the extraordinary effort newborn photographers go to to make those fab shots you see seem effortless. A Boppy or 2 is definitely needed for propping up babies.

Lyndah, I cannot thank you enough for this amazing gift... You truly did capture every moment of that afternoon to it's fullest. I cannot wait to do another shoot with Blake and you as he is now 3 months old and holding up his head! I would suggest to anyone to have Lyndah shoot you, she will capture the most amazing photo's that you are sure to cherish a lifetime!

These are amazing, Lyndah! Infant photography is one of my favorite forms of photography, and you've captured this little guy so nicely. I love the blue and he's such a beautiful baby The two in the second row are my favorite.
